Summary

Want to engage your KS3 – KS5 students with amazing practicals to do with light? Then come along to this 2 hour CPD session which includes £170* worth of science equipment for free!

 

In the session we will take an in depth look at the equipment and you will receive training on how it can be used with all secondary science key stages to give you a fluent, spiral curriculum when teaching about light, waves and photons.

  • 10 aluminium mirrors (7x7 cm)
  • 20 polarisers (7x5 cm)
  • 10 colour filter sets (7x4 cm) including red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow
  • 10 LED modules with red, green and blue LEDs
  • 10 sets of robust lenses
  • 10 foils with slit and double slit for optical diffraction experiments
  • 10 diffraction gratings
  • 5 m polymer optical fibre
  • 10 eyesafe lasers

 

* This course includes 1 free kit per school, worth £170.

We are also able to offer £175 cashback subsidies to teachers from Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Braintree & Uttlesford state maintained schools, if course is attended.
