This course aims to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in teaching about Sustainability across the STEM curriculum at Early, First and Second Level.


Summary

Two days of face-to-face professional learning at SSERC in Dunfermline, with a variety of activities to develop knowledge, skills and confidence in teaching aspects of Sustainability at Early, First and Second Level.  We will explore activities from across the STEM curriculum which could be used to help to meet a range of Es and Os.  

Delegates will receive resources to take back to their settings to support teaching and learning.

Experiential learning through practical workshops and collaborative discussion during face-to-face days, evaluation and reflection

Outcomes

You will:

  • develop knowledge, skills and confidence in teaching about aspects of Sustainability at Early, First and Second Level
  • take part in experiential learning with a range of practical activities to enhance learning in the classroom
  • reflect on how activities can link into a range of cross-curricular topics and themes across your setting
