National Physical Laboratory

The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is the UK's National Measurement Institute, and is a world-leading centre of excellence in developing and applying the most accurate measurement standards, science and technology available. These resources include posters that can be used in primary and secondary school to explain fundamental concepts of measurement, such as time, length, mass, and temperature. There is also information on dealing with uncertainties in measurement.
