Nuffield Chemistry: Stage I Background Books
The Nuffield Chemistry Background Books appeared as a series of colourful, highly illustrated, short readers to amplify and extend work done in class. Some of the books described applications of chemistry, others were historical while a few focused on particular chemical ideas and skills. Themes There were six Background Books for Stage 1 of the course. These were written for students in the age range 11-13. Applications:
