School of Physical Sciences Outreach
The University of Liverpool's School of Physical Sciences offers Outreach in Maths, Chemistry and Physics for all school ages above reception.
Maths workshops available include the FunMaths Roadshow, GCSE Revision, Dragon Quizzes and individual workshops such as code breaking, maths in art, fractions, and maths improvisation.
Chemistry workshops include 'Noisy Putty', spectroscopy in a suitcase and 'Let there be Light'
Physics workshops include the inflateable planetarium, 'Science is Cool' and Photons in the Classroom.
We also co-ordinate inward STEM visits for Years 6, 9 and 12 at the University
All of our Outreach aims to:
- Encourage pupils to conisder continuing with STEM subjects beyond GCSE
- Increase their enjoyment and engangement with STEM subjects
- Promote STEM to adults and young people alike
