Space Odyssey mobile planetarium
The Space Odyssey mobile planetarium offers spectacular 360-degree 3D immersive learning experiences for all ages in its 3 different sizes of portable dome - where the school trip comes to you!
Every session is carefully differentiated to be suitable for the particular students involved, from Pre-School through to A-level - and beyond! Each one is led by experienced science teacher Simon Ould, a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, who has led every Space Odyssey presentation since he founded it in 2004.
Topics covered include all aspects of space science and astronomy, as well as biology-themed sessions covering Evolution & Inheritance, cell biology, genetics, DNA and stem cells. Simon carefully links to key national curriculum objectives and exam syllabus criteria, where appropriate, to ensure maximum learning opportunities for all, whilst making every session an awe-inspiring and exciting experience for all!
Students experiencing sessions in the Space Odyssey domes can expect to be 'wow'ed by spectacular immersive learning opportunities, carefully differentiated to suit their learning needs.
