Teacher CPD

National Space Academy

National Space Academy Teacher CPD sessions are delivered by some of the UK's leading science teachers (Lead Educators). They will share a large range of inspiring, curriculum focused hands-on activities, teaching ideas, and access to electronic resources that can be immediately implemented in the classroom. 

All Teacher CPD sessions are delivered by science subject; Physics, Chemistry, Biology using the inspirational ocntext of space to help boost student's understanding, attainment and enjoyment of the sciences. 

 

Expected outcomes
  • Gain a deeper understanding of space science themes and how they can be used as effective contexts to inspire and boost students understanding and attainment in school science curriculum
  • Experience creative, engaging and effective mathematical modelling, hands-on and digital learning methodologies developed by the Academy for UK and International Education programmes
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the space sector and current space programmes, which can be used as well for context to teach the sciences
