Active maths pack: resources for GCSE coursework
This pack provides a comprehensive collection of material for GCSE coursework for which compulsory assessment began in 1989. It consists of applied coursework, investigations and extended projects, and caters for all abilities because the ideas are flexible and can be adapted and extended.
Material for teacher and students is included for coursework practice and for actual assessment. The teacher's material includes detailed guidance on the evaluation and marking of pupils' answers which will provide the support needed by teachers in the initial stages of assessing coursework.
The Spode Group is composed of school, polytechnic and university staff and is headed by David Burghes from Exeter University.
