Shape Activities for Students Aged 3-5

A selection of resources, published by BEAM, for teachers of early years mathematics. They include challenging problems and puzzles, open-ended investigations, cross-curricular activities and resources to practise and consolidate students' mathematical understanding.

The activities, with their mathematical content, are:

Dog or Koala bear - adding circles square to a drawing and counting
Mugs - drawing spots and stripes
Parcels - completing a pattern
Squares and circles - drawing using shapes
The christmas tree - identifiying shapes on a tree.
