Shape Activity in the Classroom - Books 8 to 14
These Eigen publications booklets contain interesting problems based on drawing polygons on seven and nine pin grids, a range of problems using pentominoes and further dissection and tangram puzzles.
* Further dissections is a range of 2, 4 and 5 piece dissections of basic shapes.
* Christmas tangrams is a collection of pictures to be made from a standard 7-piece tangram having a Christmas theme.
* Nine-pin: sorting contains sorting and classification activities based on properties of shapes drawn on a 3x3 pin grid.
* Nine-pin: area contains investigative activities relating to the full pack of nine-pin polygon cards.
* Seven-pins investigates the 19 polygons that can be drawn on a a seven pin hexagonal array.
* Pentomino pairs are puzzles to find pairs of pentominoes that can be joined to make given shapes.
* Pentomino trios are puzzles to find trios of pentominoes that can be joined to make given shapes
The booklets are largely independent of each other.
