Glyn Jones's public profile

A teacher of Engineering, STEM and Design and Technology for more than 20 years, I am passionate about learning activities that make pupils think hard and allow them to work outside of their comfort zones. I have an empathy for products that work well and make life easier and more enjoyable. From a young age pupils should be taught to have a clear and concise understanding of where products come from, why they are needed, how they are made and how their presence impacts the world around them. Only then will the engineers and designers of the future begin to make the world in which we live a better place.
I can provide support, advice and guidance to primary and secondary schools and am happy to work with individuals, departments and full staff bodies to ensure you receive the skills and knowledge you need to improve your Design and Technology provision.
