I retired in July 2021 after 25 years teaching Science to GCSE and A level Biology. I also have experience teaching GCSE and A level Environmental studies. Biology is a broad subject and my great love is ecology. I love being outside and teaching science outside. I have a degree from Exeter University and a PhD from Aberdeen University's Forestry faculty. I was lucky to do my PhD field work based in the Lake District. I am a STEM CPD lead facilitator and I am happy to run CPD for both primary and secondary colleagues. I also have experience of leading Enthuse partnerships both with primary and secondary schoools. I am currently advising an Enthuse Partnership.
