Summary
You will identify your classroom style and learn how to manage the challenging situations that may arise because of the range of potential distractions and hazards in a science laboratory.
During the course we will cover a range of strategies to develop engaging lessons for all and create a positive learning environment in which everyone is keen to engage with science and make progress in their learning.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- analyse common behaviour management issues faced by science teachers
- evaluate strategies used to tackle these issues
- devise and trial behaviour management strategies in your teaching
