Explore methods to raise awareness of the myriad of STEM related career opportunities. Learn how to interpret and strategically use LMI reports to inform curriculum planning. Accurately map the curriculum to embed good careers guidance (including the Gatsby benchmarks) and ensure that learners have meaningful encounters with employers. Discover how to embed employability skills and use STEM Ambassadors to provide real-world contexts to lessons.

You will be able to:
  • understand the key facts around the STEM skills shortage in England
  • explore how to embed employability skills and careers learning in the STEM curriculum
  • discover how Labour Market Information (LMI) can be found and how it can be used in planning STEM lessons that link to careers
