“Bonjour Dunraven Bay” – using the Curriculum for Wales as a tool to showcase the South Wales coastline NW300 / F22
Summary
This session will give participants 101 ideas to get their learners learning in, learning about, and learning for the South Wales coastline. Participants will spend the day taking part in a range of hands-on, cross-curricular activities in the natural environment, learning about the coastline through the lenses of the 6 Areas of Learning and Experience.

At the end of the course, participants will:
- Use the curriculum for Wales as a guide to fulfil the 4 purposes
- Utilise the South Wales Coastline as a resource for teaching
- Use Outdoor Learning techniques in the natural environment
- Experience hands-on, cross curricular activities
- Relate to the 6 AOLEs

Notes
Participants’ settings will be eligible to make an application to Natural Resources Wales to receive £200 towards the cost of travel to visit the Wales Coast Path with their learners. Terms and conditions will be explained during the course.
