New to Teaching A Level Chemistry RH298 / B212
Summary
This is an intense 2 day course for those who are teaching KS5 Chemistry for the first time, and for those who are looking for some new ideas to tackle the most common misconceptions and to achieve the best student outcomes. Over the multiple sessions you will focus on the core topics, common misconceptions and how to best overcome these. While enhancing subject knowledge, the best pedagogical strategies and resources to maximise student outcomes will be shared. Literacy and mathematical skills and practical skills will be embedded throughout the course to allow students of all abilities to succeed. Delegates will have an opportunity to try some of the core A’ Level practicals over the course of the multiple sessions. A gap task will provide teachers with an opportunity to consolidate their learning from day 1.
