Summary

Amidst a knowledge-rich curriculum, teachers can find it challenging to ensure that working scientifically skills are meaningfully embedded, well-delivered, and are valued as genuine, measurable opportunities for children to learn.

Forces of Nature will be a day centred on exploration: ensuring STEM projects are tangible and impactful. Get into the shoes of a primary school student embarking on a team project, building and using knowledge of forces and materials to find success.

You will conduct research, prototyping, testing a hypothesis and improving your product before facing the other groups in this team-based competition with professional development at its heart and outcomes for children as its end-goal.
