The meeting on 11th June will focus on:

Hooks, Wow, Awe and Wonder:

Focus: Hooks, Wow, Awe and Wonder with Emma Pughe

Emma is leading the training around teaching science with excitement to develop Science Capital and ways in which to provide wider opportunities.

Emma's training is always practical and transferable to what we are trying to achieve in our science lessons. A great opportunity to develop our skills and get some wonderful ideas.

Guest Speaker From Bosch: Barrie Flemming

The network group have an opportunity to take part in the Lego League. Barrie has joined the network to talk about a great STEM opportunity for primary children.

School who are interested can sign up to use a Lego kit; that BOSCH will supply and be part of a STEM project which will conclude with the children sharing presentations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a club or a STEM task in the new academic year. It can also add a practical task to the science that you carry out.
