North West Physics Teacher Network SP102 / NWKC01
Summary
The NW Physics Teacher Network is for all secondary teachers who deliver Physics content to students. We welcome specialists and non-specialists teaching key stages 3-5 and encourage anyone who attends to share anything excellent they do within their practice. It is run as part of the Stimulating Physics Network (SPN).
Location - Engineering Building, University of Manchester.
Who is it for?
The NW Physics Teacher Network is for all secondary teachers who deliver Physics content to students. We welcome specialists and non-specialists teaching key stages 3-5 and encourage anyone who attends to share anything excellent they do within their practice. It is run as part of the Stimulating Physics Network (SPN)
The event is free, and we are keen for teachers of all experience levels to attend, if you are new to the profession and puzzled about how best to tackle forces come along, if you have been mastering A-Level teaching for 20 years and have wisdom to share - come along
Who is the course leader?
Outcomes
The goals of the NW Physics Teacher Network are:
• To establish a strong network of Physics teaching enthusiasts across the North West.
• Ensure that all people who teach Physics have access to appropriate support.
• Keep teachers up to date on current developments in Physics education.
• To share best practice within our community
● To understand what opportunities other organisations can offer to secondary teachers and students in physics.
