Summary

The Faculty of Medicine, Health & Life Sciences (FMHLS) at Queen’s, in conjunction with STEM Learning, invite you to apply the STEM Teacher Placement Programme ‘Queen’s Conquering COVID’. This programme, premised around the Faculty’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic, consists of talks, tours and activities which showcase the work of our researchers, technicians and students and highlight the invaluable societal impact and social responsibility shown during the pandemic.

Who is it for?

Science teachers from Northern Ireland ONLY. 

How will you learn?

Face-to-face.

3 Days. 

Outcomes

Participants will:

  • Improve their subject knowledge by engaging with researchers and cutting edge science
  • Understand the potential career pathways of students studying their subject
  • Be inspired and motivated/ will share practice with other teachers.

Notes

Please note - if you work at a state funded school or college in Northern Ireland you will be eligible for the ENTHUSE subsidy upon full attendance on this course.
