Developing an understanding of STEM in EYFS TY034
Explore STEM for the early years and how this can support the development of understanding the world and early language and communication skills.
Summary
Within the EYFS Framework, there are countless opportunities to learn and develop through STEM. This course explores what these opportunities look like in an early years setting and how to plan for them. You will discover practical STEM ideas which will develop language and communication skills as well as encouraging children to gain a better understanding of the world.
The course will demonstrate how you can maximise learning opportunities through STEM across the EYFS Framework. Children will develop the use of STEM skills, preparing them for successful transition and for future progress.
