ECT national conference: Teaching primary science NY079

Improve your confidence to effectively teach primary science.

Summary

Whether you’re just starting teaching or in your first 5 years of teaching, join us at the STEM Learning Centre in York to develop your ideas and confidence to teach primary science.

We’re delighted to welcome a range of subject experts to run keynote sessions and workshops all aimed at providing practical strategies to make primary science manageable, effective and engaging.

Primary science nurtures children’s natural curiosity and develops children’s understanding of the world. Through practical activities children learn essential enquiry skills, as they build their understanding of the value and place science has in their lives.

Over the conference you will explore a range of practical science techniques, activities and resources, whilst considering the impact they have upon the learning of your pupils.

Are you still in training or yet secure a teaching position? Are you based in the UK? If so, funding is available to cover the cost of your place at the conference. To book please email enquiries@stem.org.uk or call to book.
