This course is intended to assist teachers in using creative means to record their pupils’ activities and learning, in ways which are effective, interesting and non worksheet based. Links will be made in many cases to other curriculum areas.

This course is intended to assist teachers in using creative means to record their pupils’ activities and learning, in ways which are effective, interesting and non worksheet based.

Outcomes

  • Teachers will be introduced to different, time efficient ways of assessing and recording pupils’ learning;
  • Teachers will have hands on experience of strategies and activities which enthuse pupils and make recording a positive activity and not just an add on at the end of a lesson;
  • Teachers will discover effective ways to ensure differentiation in either composite classes or in single year groups.
