This course explores a range of strategies to support students to answer 6 mark questions.

This course is for science teachers and subject leaders who wish to improve student's responses to 6 mark exam questions.

This course covers:

  • The key features of 6 mark questions and how they are assessed
  • Strategies to help students structure and improve their answers
  • Practical activity based extended response questions
  • Practicing linking ideas from different topics
  • Strategies to aid recall

This course is not facilitated. You can learn independently or with colleagues to directly address your individual needs.

This course takes around 60 minutes to complete and you do not need to be online at any specific time. You can take the course at your own pace.
