3D modelling and animation using Blender NC209

3D animation is extensively used for a variety of different TV, film and gaming projects. Having once been developed by stop motion animation, most projects will now use digital 3D animation. During this two-day residential you’ll learn how to develop 3D animations using the freely available software package, Blender. You will learn about the different uses of 3D animation, develop your skills in digital tools and techniques, learn how the software package Blender functions before creating your very own 3D animation.

Summary

You’ll explore the software whilst exploring the Teach Computing Curriculum units of work, Blender is used within the Year 9 Teach Computing Curriculum to deliver animation. Projects used within this course will align with the tools and techniques used in the Teach Computing Curriculum, allowing you to build your subject knowledge and confidence before delivering in the classroom.
