Summary

Designed to provide teachers with the knowledge of core concepts at KS3 and KS4. This course is for science teachers who are not chemistry specialists or those who need to build their confidence in teaching chemistry.

We will cover a wide range of topics in theoretical and practical chemistry, developing the substantive and disciplinary knowledge underlying these. We will also support teachers in challenging both students and, their own, misconceptions in chemistry.
