Hands On Primary Science Workshops
Hands-on Primary Science School Workshops
Working Science provides hands-on and practical science activities for children in primary schools. All of our workshops are delivered by an experienced science communicator, Dr Gareth Francis with a PhD in Physics and Astrophysics. We aim to excite and engage children by providing “Wow” science demonstrations and hands-on practical activities for all children to promote a kinaesthetic learning experience.
This year we have developed 3 new primary science workshops on “Darwin, adaption and evolution”, “Rocks, minerals and fossils”, and “Chemical reactions: Acids and alkalis”.
Teachers rate us highly:
“Wow! What a fantastic day.
All the children really enjoyed their hands on [Bubble-bath & Bath-bombs] experience and Dr Gareth captured their enthusiasm. All the adults loved the aroma that floated around the school. We will definitely have you back!!”
