Summary

A day of exploring best practice in the science subjects ideal for those in their first 3 years of teaching. The day will include a keynote speaker and a range of workshops and seminars. Some key themes will include: Assessing without levels; developing practical skills in Biology, Chemistry and Physics; Maths in the new science GCSE and leading extra-curricular and enrichment activities.

Outcomes

Delegates will be inspired to vary their practice back at their school with new ideas and practical skills; Make new contacts with science teachers who are at a similar point in their career.
