This book discusses the social science knowledge which exists on the possibilities and limits of education as a practical matter. It contains as a framework theoretical analyses into basic concepts of educational science, such as education, aims and means of education, educational ethics, educability and need for education. In addition the institutional policy implications and praxis-oriented insights of the findings are described.
