This resource from the Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education (RSSCSE) consists of the level 3 units. For each unit below there are comprehensive teacher's notes giving an overview of the unit, the aims and objectives for that unit, prior learning or prerequisites and the equipment required. This unit deals primarily with quality control, but the notion of variability is central throughout. The unit concentrates on one particular aspect of the quality control process - that concerned with whether a stated minimum content is exceeded. On completion of this unit, students should be able to construct quality control charts and interpret them in a simple way
