Multiplying people

This resource from the Royal Statistical Society Centre for Statistical Education (RSSCSE) consists of the level 3 units. For each unit below there are comprehensive teacher's notes giving an overview of the unit, the aims and objectives for that unit, prior learning or prerequisites and the equipment required.Starting with population data from 1650 to the present day, projections are made for the future, and some of the implications discussed. On completion of this unit students should be able to draw, read and interpret population pyramids and make simple projections from graphs and tables.
