Switched on science pack: year 6
Switched on Science is a brand new scheme that offers all of the support and resources that teachers will need to teach the new science curriculum. Packed full of hands-on experiments, creative investigations and new approaches to traditional topics, the series offers teachers original ways in which to run science lessons that will engage every student. Each year is organised into six units, providing half a term's work. Units are divided into topics which take 2 to 3 hours , depending on the needs and interest of the students. The plans and activities also offer opportunities for literacy and numeracy work as specified in the new National Curriculum for science.
