Number Activities for Students Aged 3-5

Published by BEAM, this activity requires students to write different number sequences with the number eight in the middle of the sequence. The exercise consists of sequences consisting of five numbers but could be started with three numbers and extended to sequences with more than five numbers. There is also an opportunity to talk about odd and even numbers spotting that a sequence with an even number of terms would not have a middle number. This helps them to practice their knowledge of the size of numbers.
