Summary
During this TS Network, teachers will consider how to enthuse and engage pupils, for example using resources linked to careers and science in the real world. Teachers will use examples to take away to use in teaching new GCSEs (such as, acids/alkalis, waves and light and natural selection).
Participants will get chance to review the resources and plan how to include them in their teaching and are also encouraged to bring examples of resources they currently use to share.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- make links to sources of support for STEM enrichment and enhancement
- identify resources that could enhance the curriculum
- share experiences for enhancing the curriculum and to stimulate pupils' enthusiasm for science
