Response to Stimuli

This resource from Defence Dynamics looks at how the human body responds to external stimuli and contains video clips which demonstrate the effects of high G-forces on the body. The activities help students to consider the receptors which allow the body to detect external stimuli and the roles of sensory, relay and motor neurons in the processing of the information. Students also consider the differences and similarities between reflex and conscious actions.
