Improving Progression in STEM

Produced by the Learning Skills Improvement Service (LSIS), this case study looks at a collaborative project with seven providers from the Learning and Skills Sector working with STEMNET in the North West of England. The study describes how providers were identified who were interested in embedding enrichment and enhancement activities for their learners to support progression in STEM. Additionally, STEMNET wanted to extend its work and explore ways in which the STEM Ambassador Programme could work collaboratively with providers. Benefits of the project have included: • Improved partnership working between STEMNET and providers in the Learning and Skills Sector. • Increased number of STEM Ambassadors working with the Learning and Skills Sector
