Race to It!

A collection of mathematical investigations designed for use with students aged nine to fourteen. [b]Contents include:[/b] activities covering arrangements and patterns using numbers, activities using a hundred square grid, sums and products, subtraction, calendars, networks, angles in polygons, what's my age?, crossing lines, number trees, entry codes, disappearing squares, magic circles, square numbers, money, a calendar problem, rectangles, colouring a cube, trapeziums, how many right angles?, hexagons and triangles, magic circles. This collection of investigations was compiled by teachers on a course at the City of Manchester College during 1987.
