Forces - Rocket Launch

This starter clip from Teachers TV demonstrates how much air pressure is needed to move objects of varying size. Scientist Dr Mark Biddiss constructs a makeshift launch pad, watched by children from Orion Primary School in north London. The air volumes are changed to project small, medium-sized and large bottles into the air. It is suitable for use when learning about forces and could lead into an investigation.
