Multiple Representations of Multiplication
This short clip is the first of a suite of videos which look at progression in multiplication at primary level. It follows Sam, a Key Stage One teacher as she reinforces children’s understanding of the concept of multiplication using the interactive whiteboard. Children are asked to match pictorial representations of multiplication to their calculations. This video has been produced by the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM).
