How Pop Art Changed the World

This film clips describes the technical innovations that enabled pop art to change the look of peoples’ homes. Being able to print bright colours onto fabrics and wallpapers and the discovery of new plastic pigments meant that colour was everywhere. New materials and advances in manufacturing were used to create new looks and textures. Wayne Hemmingway explains how the pop art colours which were around in his youth continue to influence his designs today.
