Summary
This is a single session as part of a trainee teacher programme. It is suitable for newly qualified teachers or those early in their career.
Explore the use of data to identify patterns of underachievement eg by cohort, ability, gender etc. The session will look at intervention strategies that could be used to support underachievement.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
•analyse data to identify underachievers and patterns of underachievement within classes or subjects
•identify a number of strategies to use with students who are underachieving
