The Y3 hard copy book contains 150 practice pages covering every objective of the Arithmetic National Curriculum.
The book is designed to
- provide extensive practice of the arithmetic curriculum, saving teacher time
- incorporate differentiation, challenge and progression
- offer flexibility for use within the school day and for homework
- reflect the format of the Arithmetic SAT Test using squares for formal calculation
The Y3 CD-ROM contains a PDF of the hard copy book, an additional version of the practice pages with different content AND 6 standardised tests with Scaled Scores.
The 6 tests are designed to
- provide vital Y3 test practice for the Key Stage 2 Arithmetic SAT Test (using squares for formal calculation)
- equip schools with opportunities to track progress during the school year, on a like-for-like basis using Scaled Scores
- produce valuable analysis of individual/group/class strengths and weaknesses to inform future planning
