Transparent cube problem
A transparent cube has a wire wrapped around it. The Top, Side and Front views are presented and then three cubes with wire are presented. The challenge is to determine which cube goes with the 2D views. A further challenge is to show the 2D representations for the remaining cubes. This resource is suitable for Key Stage 3 and could be used as an extension of the topic of 2D representations of 3D shapes.
