Managing change in the CDT department

Image resultThe rapid growth in the significance and scope of CDT Departments in schools and colleges calls for a range of new management strategies. Peter Toft, who directed the CDT Support Through Change Project, reviews the management approaches that are available to CDT teachers. Through sections on management innovations, change strategies, the implementation of LEA, policies and appraisal he outlines a range of practical approaches available. In particular he presents the concept based CDT strategy developed in one LEA, to highlight the practical application of management strategies.
