This conference covers a range of topics to help you do exactly this.
You will attend 3 workshops:

‘Working scientifically’ where you will learn how to implement strategies for planning, resourcing and organising a range of types of enquiry.

‘Assessment and progression’ will examine how to identify ways to integrate and embed assessment practices into your science teaching
-
‘Promoting thinking and talking’ or ‘Girls in science’ – you can choose which topic is most relevant to you.
There will be ambassadors from STEM and PSQM on hand to address your queries and share best practice.
Outcomes
- You will be confident in using the strategies learnt to progress your pupils’ scientific enquiry and how to teach them to use enquiry to explore the world around them.
- You will gain knowledge of effective Assessment for Learning and acquire a deeper understanding of pupil progression.
