Carriage works (good ideas for EIU)

This booklet places pupils in the position of design engineers for British Rail. The task is to design and make a model of a railway carriage that will provide for the needs and comfort of long distance travelers. Memos and information sheets are used to direct the pupils' activities. The project culminates in a presentation to a real audience.
