Summary
This course will lead you through all the middle manager skills that being leader of a practical subject like science entails. Starting with understanding of science policy, how to create aims and principles, monitoring and evaluation and the issue of resourcing. The course will look at the new requirements in light of the Ofsted framework and includes information and advice about assessing science within the national curriculum. A course for all new and aspiring subject leaders.
Outcomes
You will be able to:
- set and manage processes for leading science effectively
- lead change in your school to support delivery of the new primary curriculum
