Summary
Do you understand why STEM is essential for life? Do your students understand the diverse opportunities in this field. The government priority is that by 2020 all state secondary schools will have to have implemented the Gatsby career benchmarks into their provision.
This a free event for teachers, Senior Leaders and careers leads to gain a better understanding of how to incorporate STEM skills into the curriculum which support the Gatsby benchmarks.
Outcomes
You will:
- have a greater understanding of the free STEM support that your school can access
- have a range of strategies to improve and embed STEM skills within your curriculum
- have met employers and understand how to get them into your school to support teaching and learning
- have a greater understanding of the Gatsby Benchmarks and be able to assess your current provision and how this could be enhanced
