RSPB schools on reserves at Saltholme
Saltholme is a wetland oasis in the heart of industrial Teeside. Here nature thrives amongst a backdrop of industry and the iconic transporter bridge.
We have a range of habitats for your class to explore, ideal for a hands on and immersive experience. You could get stuck in with pond dipping or minibeast hunting, you could discover all about our wetland birds or explore the seasonal changes in nature with a host of sensory activities.
From EYFS to A Level, we have something for everyone here at Saltholme.
A memorable and engaging day for your students spent outdoors in nature. Achieving curriculum-linked learning objectives outdoors and gaining a better understanding and appreciation for our outdoor world.
