Summary

If you want to explore methods to raise awareness of STEM-related career opportunities and learn how to strategically use labour market information to inform your teaching this course is for you.

This course is designed to help you explore methods to raise awareness of STEM-related career opportunities in your teaching. Discover how to interpret labour market information to inform curriculum planning, how to accurately map the curriculum to embed careers guidance and ensure that learners understand how to communicate with employers. You will find out how to embed employability skills and use STEM Ambassadors to provide real-world contexts to lessons.

Outcomes

You will be able to:

  • Understand and use labour market information to inform curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Embed employability skills into the curriculum.
  • Develop a strategy to develop and embed good STEM careers guidance into the curriculum.
